Trekking

Maremma was a marsh in the past and now it is known to be a flat land; however you have many possibilities of trekking, both on the hills around and in trails along the coast.

Nearby to the farm there are beautiful historical and natural trails: in the Natural Reserve of Farma river and in Roccastrada, district near to Gavorrano where Podere Mulinaccio is located.

For those who love the sea, there is a fascinating trail along the coast in the Bandite Reserve of Scarlino. It is possible both trekking and mountain biking and you can also stop on the beaches; Cala Violina and Cala Martina are two of them, beautiful and unspoilt.
