Podere Mulinaccio, a holiday farm with camping facilities, has a real commitment to ecology. It is located in a strategic position for those wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Maremma countryside, spend their days at the seaside, the lake or at the hot springs, or visit naturalistic, archaeological or historic sites.

The surrounding environment is still uncontaminated and populated by wild animals typical of the Maremma area, such as porcupines, fallow and roe deer, wild boar and turtles. It is often possible to observe them; they move freely, specially in the evening.

Podere Mulinaccio is on the  Monteregio di Massa Wine Highway: for those interested in wine culture and contemporary architecture some of the other wine cellars along the highway are well worth a visit.

As far as the sea is concerned, both organized beaches with all the usual facilities and coastal nature reserves are available. Many interesting naturalistic, historic, artistic and archaeological parks and areas are to be found near by; there is a wealth of Etruscan heritage here.

There are many opportunities for open air activities and sports. for the horse riding enthusiasts amongst our guests, and trekking, bicycle touring, mountain bike expeditions, climbing on the nearby cliffs and archery within the woods are all available.
